ISLD
Ambassadors
The ISLD Ambassadors are full registered members who are appointed by the ISLD board in countries that do not yet have ISLD-affiliated laser societies. These dedicated colleagues that have been long-time active members and supporters of ISLD, will play a pivotal role in promoting its vision and mission.
Become an Ambassador
ISLD
To become an ISLD Ambassador, a candidate must go through a thorough selection process, which includes:
- A letter of recommendation by a member of the ISLD executive board.
- A detailed CV emphasizing their experience and activities related to laser dentistry.
Once appointed, ISLD Ambassadors receive specific training and guidance to efficiently represent and promote the ISLD.
Main Duties
ISLD Ambassadors have several important responsibilities:
- Identify Laser Users: Locate laser users in their country and encourage them to become ISLD members.
- Organize Scientific Activities: Promote laser dentistry by organizing seminars, hands-on courses, and other scientific events.
- Form Local Societies: Establish local ISLD-affiliated societies.
- Report Activities: Provide quarterly reports of their activities to the ISLD Board of Directors.
To successfully perform these duties, the ambassadors would have to be familiar with basic information, which also appears in details in the bylaws of ISLD.
